CA Holland Weekend Retreat
On this page, we provide information about the costs of the weekend retreat, how these costs are reflected in the participant prices, and the applicable cancellation fees.
Prices
The price of the retreat depends on the type of room selected. The prices below are per person:
- Cozy: €290
- Comfort: €375
- Premium: €425
For single-person use of a double room, a €75 supplement applies to the Comfort and Premium room types.
Cancellation fees
The following cancellation fees apply:

Rooms, Meeting Rooms, Food and Beverages
The majority of the costs of the retreat are related to accommodation, bedlinnen, meeting rooms, food and beverages. For these services, we pay an all-inclusive rate to the retreat location, Dopers Duin.
There are three types of accommodation available:
Cozy
Simple rooms with two bunk beds and a washbasin, suitable for a maximum of four people. Showers and toilets are located in the shared toilet building.
Comfort
Double room with a basic private bathroom.
Premium
A more spacious double room with a simple private bathroom and a desk/seating area.
Room sharing
In principle, participants will share a room with one or two other participants, depending on the room type.
If you would like to share your room with a specific person, please indicate this when replying to the confirmation email you receive.
If you prefer single-person use of a double room, a supplement of €75 applies. If you do not pay this supplement, you agree to share your room with another participant.
Our Visitors from the USA
The retreat will be facilitated by Terry M, Donna M and Father John. We will cover the costs of a flight to the Netherlands and their accommodation and other expenses during the retreat.
We are extremely happy and grateful that they are willing to spend their time and energy with us and share their experience, strength and hope.
Other Costs
Organizing the retreat also involves additional costs, such as:
- Advertising
- Printing and other materials
- Administration
- Other organizational expenses
These costs are included in the overall budget for the retreat.
Profit or Loss
As this is only the third time we are organizing the retreat, we cannot yet know exactly what the total costs and revenues will be.
Our budget is based on a minimum of 50 participants.
If more participants attend than expected and this results in a surplus, the additional amount will be donated to CA World Convention 2028.
In the unlikely event that fewer participants attend and the retreat results in a financial loss, we will discuss the situation with the participants during the retreat. Together, we will consider how the loss can be shared among the participants.
Our aim is to organize a meaningful and financially responsible retreat while being as transparent as possible about the costs.
